Punta del Raset beach is perhaps the best known beach in Denia. This is due to the simple fact that it is the closest beach to the town centre, as it is only a 15 minute walk from the centre of the city of Denia. It is located next to the port of Denia.
Punta del Raset beach has quite large dimensions, since its length is 600 metres and its width is 75 metres, that is to say, about four and a half hectares.
Punta del Raset beach is a sandy beach, just like Marineta Casiana beach, which is the second closest beach, or like most of the beaches in Denia. As it is a sandy beach, it has a natural spot of dunes that are protected and for this reason they are fenced, so that the public cannot access them as they are in the process of recovery.
Due to the massive construction of houses in the locality and the extension of the beach area to increase the capacity of the bathers, these dunes have suffered the consequences, for this reason the different organisms are carrying out a reforestation of these, as well as its extension of space.
However, the quality of the Punta del Raset beach is exceptional as it has been awarded the European blue flag. The blue flag is awarded due to the quality of the water, the environmental management, the information given to the public, as well as its services and safety.

At Punta del Raset beach we find different services at our disposal. Firstly, there are several wooden walkways located at the different entrances to the beach to facilitate access to them.
There is also a lifeguard and lifeguard service, with lift chairs at certain distances, as well as a central post for lifeguard activities, all of this to safeguard the safety of the public. These activities take place from 9 June to 9 October with different timetables depending on the month:
June: 11:00 to 19:00.
July and August: 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
September and October: 11:00 to 19:00.
The lifeguard team has a boat for the Punta del Raset beach to increase vigilance during periods of high capacity.

Punta del Raset beach hosts every summer a very interesting leisure activity. The Vora Mar cinema, a cinema that takes place on this beach and is completely free of charge. Every Sunday a different film is shown on a screen installed at the end of the beach.
There are also adapted toilets, a beach bar that opens its doors from July to October, sun loungers and parasols, water scooters, as well as a floating water park in the water.
In addition to the services that are carried out year after year, there are workshops that change from year to year, so it is interesting to be aware of the activities that are going to be carried out on Punta del Raset beach.

Punta del Raset beach, as we have already mentioned, is located quite close to the town centre of Denia, only 15 minutes away from the town centre. That is why it is highly recommended to walk there, as it will probably not take us too much time. However, if you prefer to get there by car or motorbike, there is a large free car park just a few metres from the beach.
Also, if you live in more distant areas such as the marinas, there is a bus service that leaves you right at Punta del Raset beach.
