This Archiduke Carlos Square Playground is one of the newest playgrounds in the city of Denia.
Location of the Archiduke Archiduque Carlos playground in Denia
This playground is located, as its name suggests, in the Archiduque Carlos Square, the square where the Dénia bus stop used to be located. This square is located at the end of Alicante Avenue, the main entrance to the city.
The Archiduke Archiduque Carlos playground in Denia has a considerable size, so it is perfect to share play and space with children of different ages. The park does not have a fenced enclosure so it is important not to lose sight of the little ones, since as we have mentioned the park is located at the end of an avenue.
However, the playground is surrounded by flower boxes, which close off the play area to some extent.
Infrastructures of the Archiduke Carloss Square playground in Denia
As far as the park’s infrastructure is concerned, there is a tower which can be reached in two different ways, by means of stairs that lead to a hanging bridge or by climbing a small climbing wall.
To go down the tower we can choose between two options, an orange slide with a straight trajectory or a blue slide with a spiral trajectory.
In addition to this tower there are two normal swings and a circular swing with larger dimensions than the normal swings. Finally, the playground has an individual seesaw.
The playground also has benches for parents and children to rest. There is also a small porch that provides shade on sunny days in the play area.
To increase the safety of the little ones, the floor of the playground is covered with rubber tiles that provide cushioning for possible falls that may occur during play.

In the vicinity of the playground there are cafés and bars, as well as a bakery ideal for buying snacks for the little ones or having a coffee while they play.
