As its name suggests, the Monday market in Denia is a weekly market that takes place every Monday in Denia. This market is located in Calle Germans Maristas and more precisely in the esplanade of Torrecremada. This is a well-known market in Dénia with many stands of all kinds.
As far as opening hours are concerned, the market is officially open from 8am until 1.30pm. However, in reality, the market traders start setting up their stalls from 8am and it is only really operational from 10am.
What products are on offer at the Monday market ?
The Monday market offers a wide range of products. Even though there are a number of food stalls, such as a stall selling green or black olives, plain or with spices or herbs, a stall selling braised chicken, a stall selling seasonal fruit such as clementines, lemons, grapefruits and oranges. There is also an oilseed stand with almonds, cashews, peanuts and many other nuts.
The Monday market is not only a food market because on this market we find mainly various articles such as shoes, bags but also clothes, of all kinds such as t-shirts, dresses, coats, hats and many others.
In addition to these different stands, there are various stalls of home decoration products such as cushions, quilts, carpets and fabrics. But also handmade decorations, wicker baskets, hats and flowers.
Then, the Monday market offers us a “drugstore” stall with many pens, phone shells, notebooks, games for children, costume jewellery, etc…
Finally, the market has a stall where we can enjoy a little coffee to relax and rest after walking the market aisles.

The Monday market is located in the Torrequemada car park. In the vicinity of this car park there is a dog park and the Torrequemada Park, which is perfect for relaxing and taking a walk with family and friends.
In addition, we are just a few minutes’ walk from the Carrefour supermarket and the Mercadona supermarket, which will allow us to complete our market purchases.
Can we go to the Monday market by car?
It is perfectly possible to come to the Monday market by car. In fact, we can find some parking spaces along the road or simply go to the Torrequemada car park as the market does not use all the space in the car park. Moreover, if there are a lot of people, there is another option, which is the Montgó car park, located a few hundred metres from the market. It is a large car park that can accommodate a large number of vehicles.
