Mariana Pineda Square in Denia is located in the centre of the city, specifically in one of its oldest neighbourhoods, the Baix la Mar neighbourhood. A fishermen’s neighbourhood, now reconverted into one of the best leisure areas in the city of Denia.

A few metres away from Mariana Pineda Square, we find the port of Dénia, so it is perfect to go for a walk near the sea and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. The Plaza de Mariana Pineda is named after the 19th century Spanish revolutionary who was part of the resistance to the absolutist restoration in Spain. It is also the work of Federico García Lorca, in memory of Marina Pineda.

Parking in the Plaza de Mariana Pineda is somewhat complex, since as we have mentioned, it is located in a central area and also pedestrian, so it is ideal to go to the square for a walk and enjoy the good weather in the city. However, there are several parking areas just a few minutes away from the square.
On the one hand, there is a paid car park in the area of the port of Denia, which leaves us 10 minutes away from the square. On the other hand, there is a free car park in the Llunatics area, which leaves the Mariana Pineda square only 5 minutes away on foot.
